कार्यक्रमाच्या सुरवातीला आमदार श्री रणधीर सावरकर , महापौर अर्चनाताई मसने व उपस्थित मान्यवरांनी पुण्यश्लोक अहिल्यादेवी होळकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त त्यांच्या प्रतिमेस पुष्प अर्पण करून त्यांना विनम्र अभिवादन केल.
आपल्या अध्यक्षीय भाषणात आमदार रणधीर सावरकर यांनी आशा वर्कर या करोना काळात निस्वार्थपणे समाजाची अविरत सेवा करत आहेत व त्यांचे कार्य सर्वांसाठी प्रेरणादायी आहे व आशा वर्कर यांच्या ऋणातून समाज कधीही मुक्त होणार नाही त्यांचे कार्य सर्व जनतेसाठी एक आदर्श दिशादर्शक व अनुकरणीय आहे असे प्रतिपादन केले व पंतप्रधान नरेंद्रभाई मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वातील केंद्र सरकारला 7 वर्ष पूर्ण झाल्याबद्दल व आपल्या सर्वांचे मार्गदर्शक आदरणीय केंद्रीय मंत्री ना संजयभाऊ धोत्रे यांना केंद्रीय मंत्री पदी 2 वर्ष पूर्ण झाल्याबद्दल त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले
जनतेने मा पंतप्रधान नरेंद्रभाई मोदींच्या व ना संजय धोत्रे यांच्या नेतृत्वावर जो विश्वास दाखवला या बद्दल जनतेचे विशेष आभार मानले
महापौर अर्चनाताई मसने यांनी आशा वर्कर यांच्या कार्याचे कौतुक केले व आशा वर्कर या खऱ्या अर्थाने सावित्रीच्या लेकी आहेत असे प्रतिपादन केले व याप्रसंगी महापौरांनी पुण्यश्लोक अहिल्यादेवी होळकर यांच्या पावन स्मृतीना उजाळा दिला व त्यांना अभिवादन केले
याप्रसंगी मनपा शाळा क्रमांक 22 येथील लसीकरण करणाऱ्या डॉक्टर मनीषा बोरकर, सोनल तायडे व आरोग्य कर्मचारी वृंद यांचा पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन सत्कार करण्यात आला व त्यांना N95 मास्कचे वाटप करण्यात आले
याप्रसंगी आशा वर्कर यांना साडी चोळी सन्मानपत्र व मास्क चे वाटप करण्यात आले
या सत्कार सोहळ्यास “आशा” प्रतिभा मनवर, प्रज्ञा प्रधान , शितल नंदी , रेखा जोहरी, वंदना मोरे , वंदना साळवे, सौ कल्पना तेलगोटे, सुनीता जाधव , ज्योती नवले, सौ नीता टोहरे, शोभा गवई, सौ शिला कात्रे यांनी हा आपुलकीचा सत्कार स्वीकारला व भारतीय जनता पक्षाने त्यांच्या कार्याची जाणीव ठेवून मानसन्मान दिल्याबद्दल रणधीरभाऊ सावरकर यांचे विशेष आभार मानले
